The Empty Nest

This has been a busy week for us. Cumulating tomorrow afternoon when we drive our daughter, our only child, to the college of her choice in Massachusetts.

Wow, this came fast! I'll spare you the reminiscing and probably the tears. I would council you to hold them and love them while you can. The last 18 years have just flown by. Of Course we will worry, probably every free moment we get.

We long ago gave her over to the Lord, and he has done a great job leading us forward to this day.

We will place our trust in our Creator and His promise as stated in Proverbs 22:6 ;

"Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it. '

I would like to ask you all to pray for us on our journey. Oh yeah, for our safety on the trip to and fro as well.
